Beginning of June 2026, the AI Factory Austria AI:AT participated in “Code your Career – Your Path into IT and Digitalization”, a career and technology event held at the Technical Museum Vienna as part of the Future Fit Festival.

Organised by the Vienna Employment Promotion Fund (waff), the event welcomed around 1,000 visitors and provided practical insights into future-oriented careers, digital skills, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence across industries.

AI:AT was present with its own exhibition booth, engaging with visitors interested in AI, digital transformation, and emerging career opportunities. Throughout the afternoon, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about AI applications, upskilling pathways, and the competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Discussions focused on how AI is reshaping the workplace and how individuals can prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

A special highlight of the event was the participation of Bernhard Götzendorfer, AI Innovation & Solution Engineer at AI:AT, on the panel. Together with other experts, he shared his perspective on current developments in artificial intelligence, skills development, and innovation. The discussion focused on the opportunities AI presents for Austria’s economy, as well as the importance of accessible education and upskilling programs in driving digital transformation.

Members of the wider AI ecosystem were also represented at the event. Among them was Soda Zitron Media, a coworking member of AI Factory Austria, contributing to conversations with visitors and helping showcase the diversity and strength of Austria’s growing AI and innovation community.

The strong turnout and active engagement throughout the event highlighted the growing public interest in artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Through workshops, panel discussions, role model sessions, and interactive activities, “Code your Career” helped make technology more accessible while encouraging participants to explore new educational and professional pathways.

For AI:AT, the event provided another valuable opportunity to connect with industry representatives, educational institutions, and ecosystem partners. By fostering dialogue, promoting AI literacy, and supporting skills development, AI continues to contribute to a strong, inclusive, and innovation-driven AI ecosystem in Austria.
