AI Factory Austria AI:AT welcomed AI Austria to the site on Friday, March 20, 2026. Karl Kugler, Daniel Pepl and Mara Weinblatt welcomed Clemens Wasner and Ruben Hetfleisch from AI Austria, followed by a two-and-a-half-hour deep dive into joint perspectives and the next areas of cooperation.

The exchange focused on further strengthening the Austrian AI ecosystem, community building, the use and further development of the AI:AT Coworking Hub, joint event formats, startup funding, research collaborations and access to HPC infrastructure, GPUs and cloud credits.

The first visible result of these discussions is the participation of AI Factory Austria AI:AT in the AIM Hackathon On April 11, 2026, AI Factory Austria will provide AI:AT with the physical hub at the location as a space for exchange, networking and collaboration.

The common goal is to further develop artificial intelligence in Austria in a responsible manner, make targeted use of synergies and strengthen the national AI ecosystem in the long term.
