Executive Track Part 2: “AI in practice”
After the successful start with the executive track “AI overview”, the second day of the workshop focused on the practical and strategic application of artificial intelligence. Building on the basics of the first day, participants were given the opportunity to classify relevant technologies for their own company in a more targeted manner and develop concrete next steps towards implementation.
As an introduction, an AI fact check was used to jointly reflect on which trends and technological developments are actually relevant for companies – beyond hype and buzzwords. The aim was to provide orientation and focus on those topics that are important for strategic decisions in the corporate context.

An additional focus was placed on the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of AI use cases. The discussion centered on which specific applications hold potential for a company’s own context, how their benefits can be evaluated, and which initiatives may provide a meaningful starting point for AI implementation. The aim was to provide a clearer understanding of how appropriate first steps for the practical implementation of AI in companies can be derived.
The Soneo AI demo in the afternoon provided a practical insight into the implementation of AI solutions. The participants were able to understand how specific applications can be designed and what requirements are associated with an actual implementation in practice. This broadened the view from strategic classification to operational implementation.

The subsequent AI panel discussed what distinguishes companies that use AI successfully from those that get stuck in the implementation phase despite their high ambitions. The focus was on questions regarding the role of management, the strategic approach, the importance of a sustainable database and organizational requirements and effects. The subsequent expert Q&A provided space to discuss individual questions directly with the experts before the day turned into an open networking session.
The second day of the workshop showed how important it is not only to understand artificial intelligence, but also to translate it into specific fields of application in a structured manner. The combination of strategic orientation, practical examples and open exchange made it clear which prerequisites are crucial for advancing AI in your own company in a meaningful and effective way.
The event thus once again underlined the aim of the Executive Track: to provide managers with low-threshold, yet well-founded access to key AI topics and to support them in deriving viable next steps for their organization.
