The Executive Track “AI Overview” series opened successfully with its first workshop.
The Executive Track “AI Overview” of AI Factory Austria AI:AT brought together managing directors and supervisory board members of startups and SMEs in Vienna on March 5, 2026. The event offered a compact, practical introduction to the topic of artificial intelligence – with a focus on strategic management, responsible use, and sound decision-making knowledge.
The aim of the format is to provide an initial, a practical introduction to key developments in the field of artificial intelligence—as a starting point for further in-depth study and offerings in the Austrian training and consulting ecosystem.

Participants included interested parties from all federal states. This underscores the great need for guidance on artificial intelligence throughout Austria. Particular praise was given to the practical relevance, interactive design, and structured overview of key AI topics. The practical examples presented provided inspiration on which further programs, training courses, and consulting services in the Austrian ecosystem can build.

The Executive Track highlighted how important it is for managers to actively engage with artificial intelligence. Those who understand the opportunities, challenges, and potential applications of AI are better able to assess developments, make informed decisions, and drive innovation in their own areas of influence.
The positive response encourages us to continue offering these low-threshold orientation formats. The aim is to provide managers with a structured introduction to key AI topics and thus also to create points of contact for further training, consulting, and implementation services in the Austrian innovation ecosystem.
