Using a hands-on format, NIMEH & Partners brought together stakeholders from the AI ecosystem to learn together, work on specific use cases in partner-led build sessions, and exchange ideas.

With the Summer Build & BBQ, initiated and organized by George Nimeh and NIMEH & Partners and hosted at AI Factory Austria, founders, developers, students, and other key players in the Austrian innovation ecosystem came together to learn about the latest AI tools, share practical experiences, and network. At the heart of the event was the belief that the successful use of artificial intelligence begins when people not only learn about AI but also apply it collaboratively.
The afternoon build sessions focused entirely on specific use cases. In the n8n session, led by n8n Ambassador Cristian Livadaru, participants explored tool discovery, triggers, and how to create their first workflows. In the Cursor session, led by Cursor Ambassador Abdul Basit Banbhan, participants developed a functional social-networking application—similar to a Twitter/X clone—in less than two hours. Both sessions demonstrated how quickly modern AI tools can bridge the gap from curiosity and initial experimentation to working prototypes.

A key element of the Summer Build & BBQ was the direct exchange between participants and experienced experts from the AI community. Peter Morley, Kate Sianko, and other members of the Nebiusteam were on hand to facilitate the event and share their practical insights. Alina Nikolaou and Vlad Gozman from TEDAI Vienna , as well as Ragna Ghoreishi from The AI Fellowship contributed their perspectives and expertise to the discussions.
The evening concluded with a networking BBQ, generously supported by Nebius, providing an ideal setting for informal exchange and new connections.
In a relaxed atmosphere, participants continued the discussions sparked during the Build Sessions, shared experiences, and forged new connections. With summer temperatures providing the perfect backdrop, the BBQ offered an opportunity to reflect on the insights gained and the projects developed throughout the day, exchange ideas, and lay the foundation for future collaborations. AI Factory Austria extends its sincere thanks to Nebius for making this valuable networking opportunity possible through their generous support.

Innovation thrives where knowledge, technology, and people come together. Events like the Summer Build & BBQ combine hands-on AI experience with meaningful networking, creating an environment where new ideas are shared, collaborations emerge, and innovation can move from concept to real-world impact.
With the Summer Build & BBQ, NIMEH & Partners has created a format that brings these elements together, fostering knowledge exchange, meaningful connections, and collaboration across Austria’s AI ecosystem.
