1. public relations / knowledge transfer

Purposes and legal basis(s)

The purpose of this processing is to inform you about the activities of AI:AT or the organizations involved in the project. The legal basis for this processing is primarily your consent, if you have given it. In certain situations, the processing is based on the legitimate interest in providing information about the publicly funded activities of AI:AT (e.g. when contact is made via professional social networks or targeted contact is made about specific projects).

Storage duration

The data is stored for as long as is necessary for public relations work within the framework of the project. This period may vary depending on the context in which contact was established between data subjects and AI:AT.

2. event management

Purposes and legal basis(s)

The purpose of this processing is to organize and hold events as part of the AI:AT project and to report on them. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of AI:AT to properly handle events and to be able to meet the reporting requirements of the funding bodies.

Persons who participate or would like to participate in AI:AT events (interested parties) The data disclosed when registering for an AI:AT organized event as well as data disclosed during the event (e.g. requests to speak in webinars or on-site events) are processed

The disclosure of this data is required in order to participate in the event.

Data recipient

We do not pass on your data to third parties.

Storage duration

Your data will be stored until the event has been duly completed.

3. training and education

Purposes and legal basis(s)

The purpose of this processing is the planning, organization and evaluation of training and education in order to optimally disseminate knowledge on the trustworthy development and use of artificial intelligence. The legal bases are the legitimate interest to process the data necessary for the proper organization of training/education; the legitimate interest to process the data necessary for the fulfillment of accountability to funding bodies and the consent of data subjects – if required in certain constellations.

Data recipient

Providers of online meeting solutions who participate as service providers in the holding of webinars.

Storage duration

The data will be stored until the evaluation of training courses has been completed. The data required to fulfill the accountability to funding bodies will be stored until the end of the period during which the proper use of funding can be checked.
